Engagement principles

How we propose to work with partners.

These are proposed principles for discussion, not an executed contract. Any actual engagement is agreed in writing for a defined scope before work begins.
  1. 01

    Expression of interest first

Registering capability or applying to a role brief is an expression of interest. It does not appoint, approve or empanel you, and it does not guarantee work.

  2. 02

Everything material is agreed in writing

Before any work starts, we agree the scope, deliverables, fee or retainer or supply prices, milestones and payment timing, availability, authority and sign off limits, safety arrangements, confidentiality, intellectual property and use of records, warranty and support where applicable, and acceptance and closeout criteria.

  3. 03

    No exclusivity, no guaranteed volume

We do not assume exclusivity on either side, and we do not promise a volume of work. Each engagement stands on its own written scope.

  4. 04

    No upfront commitment

We do not charge registration or onboarding fees, and we do not ask for upfront payments, fixed rates or commissions as a condition of being considered.

  5. 05

    Responsibility follows verified competence

Technical advice and sign off sit with the person whose verified competence covers that discipline. We coordinate and verify; we do not ask anyone to certify work outside their competence.

  6. 06

    Evidence before discussion

We review the evidence you submit before a technical discussion. Where a project fits, the next steps are a technical discussion, a project brief or RFQ, and then a written engagement.
